What Is POP Pilates & Who Is It For?


POP Pilates is an incredible fusion of ab-chiseling and total body defining moves choreographed to your favourite top 40 hits. This intense, mat-based workout challenges you to rhythmically flow from one exercise to the next, developing a rock solid core while leaving no muscle untouched. This format takes classical Pilates to the next level like you've never seen before While POP Pilates moves all originate from classical Pilates, the class design, relationship with music, sequencing and reps, differ from reformer classes and traditional mat classes. The fundamentals of breathing, core engagement and powerhouse-based movements are shared. However, the emphasis on moving to the beat of pop music is what makes POP Pilates so unique



POP Pilates is for EVERYONE!! Trust me when I say I am no dancer! I make Bridget Jones look like she could be a back up dancer for Beyonce, and yet here I am teaching you what is essentially 'a dance on the mat'. This is why I love POP Pilates so much, because it is so inclusive and you have so much fun that before you know it the class is over and you're feeling' it in ALL the right places!

Whether this is your first group fitness class or you're a seasoned "POPster", I want you to know that you are welcome here. I want you to know that you are entering a safe space to learn, have some fun and just be you. I am here to guide you through each 30, 45 or 60 minute session and we will work together to make sure you get the very best out of each workout
