Happy Easter & Making A New Commitment

Happy Easter! It's 2020 and we're right smack bang in the middle of the global pandemic that is Coronavirus. We're all on lockdown so that means zero socialising outside of your own home - some people are finding it hard, others are loving it. I find myself in the second category, which considering I'm naturally the type of person who loves to be around other people, is a little weird, right?


Anyway, it's giving me ample opportunity to work on building The Well Body and I've been saying for the last six months that I'd commit to blogging more when I had the time. Well we're on the third week of lockdown here in the UK and I've not written a single blog post!! Today I'm making a commitment to post a blog every day because I want to take you with me on this journey of building my brand and business


I created a private Facebook group on 17th March and hosted my very first live, virtual POP Pilates class the following Saturday. That was 3 weeks ago and I've been teaching a 30 minute class every single day. The results have been pretty crazy, take a look at my before and after photos below



My starting measurements as of 1st January 2020 are as follows:

~ Bust: 39.5"

~Waist: 30"

~Hips: 39"

~Thighs: 42" (measured together)

~ Upper Arms: 12"


My last measurements from 1st March are as follow:

~ Bust: 37.5"

~ Waist: 28.5"

~ Hips: 34:25"

~ Thighs: 38.75 (measured together)

~ Upper Arms: 11.5"



Nuts right? And that's through teaching a 30 minute POP Pilates class every single day. I have been trying to work out daily and eat healthier since 1st January as it's my goal to be my healthiest and fittest yet by the end of 2020 but it's only since the lockdown that I've actually seriously stuck at it. I've done the odd HIIT and Yoga session here and there as well, which has definitely helped but ultimately, I put it down to consistency. So, from 1st May I'm going to start PIIT28 and commit to it over a 3 month period. I'm also going to do the 28 day vegan reset alongside it to try and get an idea of what (if any) foods don't necessarily agree with me. I'm pretty easy going when it comes to food and since going vegan my skin has really cleared up. However, my Psoriasis (which disappeared of it's own accord around 9 years ago) has come back with a vengeance so, I'm really hopeful that the reset will help me to identify what might be causing it because I don't eat dairy, which is said to be one of the main culprits of either causing or exacerbating Psoriasis


More than anything I'm hoping that doing PIIT28 alongside my daily pop pilates classes will continue to improve my mental health. I should also mention that I start my 200hr YTT in March and I'm really looking forward to becoming a qualified Yoga Teacher. I plan to share all that I learn here with you as well



In other new have you seen my new logo that my super talented sister created? She literally whipped it up in a matter of minutes but it would have taken me HOURS!! She knows Illustrator and I do not! What do you think of it? I freakin LOVE it. LOVE. IT!
